myCNAjobs announces the launch of the myCNAjobs CNA Scholarship Fund to help tackle the looming caregiver shortage. This year, myCNAjobs will donate $118,572 to send good people to good schools across the nation.

"Everyday, we see companies struggling to recruit enough qualified caregivers to fill critical roles, says Brandi Kurtyka, Co-Founder and CEO of Chicago-based myCNAjobs. "CNAs are the lifeblood of our healthcare system and we need to bring more awareness to the profession to attract new talent."

The CNA Scholarship fund will provide scholarships to individuals seeking to learn more about caregiving as a profession and build a long-term career in the industry. The program gives the next generation of healthcare workers more access to free eduction and a vehicle to connect to jobs post graduation. To apply, there's a short online application. Every employee at myCNAjobs will play a role in reviewing applications and interviewing applicants to award the scholarships throughout the year.

"The world needs more amazing CNAs and it's extremly rewarding for our team to play a small role in getting better care into the hands of those that need it," adds Kurtyka. "The initial scholarship fund stemmed from a personal experience and overall team mission to provide best-in-class care for our aging population.
