myCNAjobs, a recruitment vehicle and caregiver job community, is pleased to announce the recipient of the first 2013 CNA nursing scholarship, Brittany Banks. This is the first scholarship award in a series of four total awards in the 2013 calendar year. 

"Among other considerations, Banks was chosen for her personal commitment to nursing, her desire to help those in need, and immense passion for changing lives," comments Brandi Kurtyka, Chief Marketing Officer for myCNAjobs. Banks is planning to attend one of four CNA schools in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area including:

• Care Perfections Career Institute
• Career Training solutions
• Germanna Community College
• Prince Georges Community College

Select schools are planning to match the $250 scholarship award if attended.

“I'm thrilled to receive this award and start my journey to become a professional caregiver," says Banks.  "I fully intend to put the money to good use and look forward to starting school, learning, and joining a reputable employer in the Fredericksburg area upon graduation."

After Banks graduates, myCNAjobs will help connect her to local CNA jobs.

●      March 2013 CNA Scholarship – submission due February 28
●      June 2013 CNA Scholarship – submission due May 31
●      October 2013 CNA Scholarship – submission due September 30
