Join Right at Home as a Home Health Aide (HHA) in Orlando, where you will play a vital role in supporting seniors and disabled individuals to maintain their independence. Based in Orlando, this position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through compassionate caregiving.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Monitor and record patient observations, vital signs, and medical information.
Assist clients with mobility and transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
Support medication management and ensure adherence to care plans.
Maintain accurate medical documentation while respecting patient confidentiality.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
Follow all safety protocols including CPR and HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive home health services.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Home Health Aide or similar caregiving role.
Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient observation.
Certification in CPR is required.
Experience working with seniors, dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care preferred.
Ability to assist with ADLs and mobility support.
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a plus.
