  Caregiver Requirements

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Provide high quality and compassionate care to all of our clients
• Assist residents with daily living activities
• Help with safe transfers (Gait belt experience)
• Serve meals to patients; may assist in preparing meals
• Record and report changes in patient’s eating habits to our RN supervisors
• Initiate and participate in leisure activities provided for residents
• Provide bathroom assistance, bathing, ambulation, shaving, dressing, etc.
• Maintain residents’ records daily and on time
• Observe and report the health and emotional condition of each client.
• Assist residents with medication reminders
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for your clients; perform general housekeeping such as light laundry, bed making, cleaning, etc.
• Follow procedures in emergencies and responds promptly and positively to client requests for assistance.
